Hi Sharon.... Yes...the parents of Nancy were Alexander Wells and Leah Owings. Nancy was b. 12 Jan 1758 Baltimore, MD (I think). William Griffith was b. 7 Nov 1755 Frederick Co., MD. I am descended from their daughter, Michal b. 2/15/1781 who m. Richard Wells. I've posted inquiries, off and on, for several years. A few months ago, someone on the list said that William Griffith's parents were Greenberry Griffith and Ruth Riggs. But other than one posting on the web, I can't find any corroboration for that claim. Greenberry did have a son named William, but I can't find any information on that William. Do any of the names above ring a bell with you?
