Looking for info on Sampson Griffith from Ralls Texas, (Crosby County)     Married Hattie A Marx.  had several children, one of which was my grandmother - Leona Griffith born Sept 10 1916 in Crosby TX, she married Mancil Herod Bailey and lived in Lamesa (Dawson CO) where my mother was born Brenda Elaine Bailey in May 6 1945 Thanks for any help! Dear Clint, I have no idea how valid this is, but it is in one of my Griffith Books: "A line submitted by Esther Wilkerson, Lamesa, Texas: William Griffith, born 1844 in Kentucky, died in 1883 in Missouri, Married Martha Enloe, born 1854, and died in 1883 in Mo. They had 6 children: 1. Lois Griffith, born 1867 in Missouri 2. George Washington Griffith, born 1872 in Missouri 3. Frank Marion Griffith, born 1874 in Missouri 4. Andrew Jackson Griffith, born 1876 in Missouri 5. Margaret (Martha) Griffith, born 1878 in Missouri 6. Samson Enlow Griffith, born 1880 in Missouri Samson Enlow Griffith, born 27 Feruary 1880, Joplin, Mo. married first Hattie Mae Crowch (that's the way it is in the book---could be Crouch?), Bristow, Okla; Married 2nd Hattie Anna Marx, of Blackburn, Okla. Samson died in 1926 in Brady, Texas" No further information. Hope this helps.
