Joanna, When years ago when I started on my Griffith's, I was taken to the Big Genealogy Library here in Houston and a friend told me that the man that founded it, his Griffith's were from the Virginia area. It's called the Clayton Library. It has one building just for books on Family names. I'll look there this week for yours if you'd like.
