This is my first query so please bear with me. I am researching my gg/grandfather Marion P. Griffith born abt. 1830 in TN. and died before 1907 in MO. He married one Louise Catherine Johnson. Their children are as follows: William Douglas Griffith (my g.grandfather) Children: William B. Griffith Jennie Griffith Arthur Ethel Griffith (my grandfather) John J. Griffith James M. Griffith Charles T. Griffith Eugene A. Griffith Odis A. Griffith Priscilla Griffith If there are any descendants who are subscribed to this list I would very much appreciate hearing from them. I have no direct info, but I am a GRIFFITH descendant--and many of the given names that you mention are familiar.-- If you know the exact(or about) area of TN for Marion GRIFFITH's birth it would help. My (3 )grgrandfather was Jonathan GRIFFITH (Jr)dob 1782 in NC(exact location in NC, unknown presently)dod 1854 (Dekalb Co(previously Smith County),TN). He migrated to the Smith Co area of TN 1803-1805. Jonathan GRIFFITH(Jr) was married to Elisabeth (unk) also dob 1782 NC .I descend through their oldest son Moses GRIFFITH dob 1806 Smith Co TN. Jonathan GRIFFITH was STB(do not have documentation proof as yet) s/o John/Jon GRIFFITH was was born 1755 died 1830 and is buried near Alexandria, TN(Wilson/Dekalb County border line) I have run across no 'Marion' or 'Otis' or 'Eugene" in my research,but all the other first names I do report--I am in Nashville, TN Get back with me.
