We went on the internet and began to search for things "Griffith" and variants by key word at http://www.google.com also we used http://www.dogpile.com which brings several search engines together at the same time and increases the things one can find. We turned up some castles and some stories of royalty as well. What a shame we have lost research back to 1200 but it gives us a valuable clue and perhaps we can retrace our way. We post things there that we hope will be helpful to our own family research as it relates to our griffith ancestors. She runs this house. Taken in at 8 weeks of age, as a delightful but precocious puppy, she knows no other life.
