Hello -- I have a William Griffith b. 1797, probably in Georgia. One reference has him born in TN, all others in GA. He married Louisa Bryant, 1833 Walton Co., GA. Does anybody know any Griffith families living in Georgia in 1797? Any help appreciated. Kitty Johnson Corvallis, OR

HA, HA, HA, HA!!!!! Aren't we being optimistic? I'll keep my fingers crossed. Went yesterday for an MRI on my right shoulder. I have a copy of the film in the back of my car, but can't get to the doc until Monday to find out what the films show. I went to the state archives a year or so ago and found the years that Samuel Bryant served in the legislature, but haven't found anything else on him. Do you think there might be so info in Walton Co.? Did you ever go there to research? Of course, I'm right handed, fyi.
