    3. I do not have any information about a George Griffith, but my Griffith's were from Montgomery in the mid 1700's. My 4great grand father Abel Griffith was born in Montgomery Co in 1724, William (my 3great grandfather) was born 1760 in Montgomery Co. Abel also had a son, John, four daughters and two unknown children. Abel had three brothers, John , Benjamin, and Joseph (all born in Montgomery Co between 1724 and 1734). I have no descendants for them. William had six sons born between 1793-1810. I do have the descendant for two of his sons -- no George ( but that was before your George). His three sons, that I do not have descendants for are Thomas Shield, born 1810, and John, born 1801. One of these "might " be an ancestor. My immigrant Griffith was Rev. Benjamin Griffith, he was a Baptist and had a number of descendants who were Baptist preachers. Benjamin came from Wales with 2 half brothers in 1701. Good luck Barbara Bower

    3. Thank you for your message. Sorry this isn't my Griffiths line. My ancestry began in Wales and migrated to Scotland and then America. So far I haven't been able to establish the dates of the migration of the Welsh clan to the Scottish clan.
