Mott: There are a couple of Susanna Griffiths in my genealogy but no Richardson's that I know of. There is a g Aunt named Susanna Griffiths b: 30 Apr 1837 Old Monkland,Lanark, Scotland. (St.Quivox Parish). Immigrated with her parents and sister and brothers ca.1840. M: Daniel Hoffman, last seen on census of 1880 Porter, Schuylkill Co. I have my g grandfather's history, and his brother Alexander's info. Alexander also had a daughter named Susanna b:Sep 1875 Schuylkill Co. m: Charles Gerly b: Aug 1868. As yet unfortunately I haven't found the other brothers. If you want their names let me know I do have them from church records. The Griffiths settled in Tremont, Pa., and later migrated to Reilly Township, Schuylkill Co. It appears the men all became miners. My g grandfather William Anderson Griffiths left Pa. and migrated to Illinois where he dropped the 's' from his name. Since then our side of the family has always spelled the name without the 's' while the Pa. clan retained the original spelling. Will be willing to help any way I can. Norma E.
