Thank you 'Happy Texan': I didn't realize there was a connection that early in Pa. even though I have seen listings I didn't think they were related. My problem is I can't find the link of when the Griffiths (surname spelling in Scotland) migrated from Wales. I haven't been able to find anything before 1789/1799 (IGI) of James Griffiths parents. I have tried but hit that dog gone brick wall. I'm not anxious about contacting that research outfit in the UK to do research just yet. They will have to search the early church records I think there called OPR's.(Old Parochial Records) I can't get to a FHC so I just might have to resort to them. Thank you for your message I appreciate your kindness.
