Hi Joanna, This was very helpful -- thanks. I wish I could find _any_ connection between Mary (Griffith) Willett and the Griffith/MacCubbin crew - so far, there doesn't seem to be anything, even anything circumstantial, to connect them. No common names on wills, or anything. It'd be great if Mary turned out to be an unaccounted-for daughter of William and Comfort -- it'd be nice if it was that easy.... Thanks again for your information. cheers, Gordon Joanna Dunn wrote: >HI All, > >I have the book, ANNE ARUNDEL GENTRY by Harry Wright Newman; Maryland >Pioneer Press, 1933. > >On page 179, he says: > >Charles Griffith, son of William and Sarah Maccubin Griffith was born on >January 20, 1693, in St. Ann's Parish, Anne Arundel County. You're welcom Gordon. I found this book on the internet. It was a rare and out-of-print book. Maybe Mary's parents will surface some day.
