William Marion Griffith b 6 April 1859 d 05 May 1932. His father was James b August 1837. Said to be 88 years of age at death. James was married to Mary Jane Fish. I would like to know who were James parents. I have info from the 1870 and 1880 US Census, Haywood County, North Carolina Crabtree District...the 1900 US Census Haywood County, Iron Duff Township. James had 7 children: 2 sons and 5 daughters. (Have some info on other children) William was the oldest (my great-grandfather). He married (1st) Rapsey Jane Whitlock September 9, 1882. (Info from family Bible) daughter of William Whitlock and Caroline Coggins Mathis. (Caroline Coggins was 1st married to Francis Asbury Mathis) Any connections?
