    3. Don't rule out that time period between generations, as that Griffith/Maccubbin had several generations out of whack. A bit more distance than usual. What did they name their children? That will give you a clue if she is from that line, the same names were used continuously, and even though the fathers always liked to name after their side, the wives got their family names in as well. I checked some of my books rather quickly and the Willetts are there, and the wife is Mary, but when I have more time I will check further. Names of the children will help determine that particular line. Some of this G/M line went to N.C. There is also a line of Griffiths in Pa., separate family from the G/Maccubbin bunch.
