Hello everyone: Since it looks today is an active one for old Griffiths, I will toss another one out. I am seeking any information on JOHN GRIFFITH, born before 1810 in Virginia (there is a slim chance he was Kentucky-born). However, I realize that this is too broad of a request. Some more clues - He very likely went by GRIFFETH, GRIFFEY, GRIFFY, or GRIFFEE (there may be even more variants of this name). He had a son GEORGE GRIFFEY about 1830 (possibly Feb 1827). He may have lived in Russell County, Virginia for a time. I am not sure of this. His son GEORGE married twice. First to NANCY BLACKBURN, and next to MATILDA "TILDY" FRANCISCO aka CISCO/SESCO/etc. His son GEORGE lived in Pike County, Kentucky from 1850 to about 1880. After that, he lived in Floyd County, Kentucky. This is my "brickwall", so any help is more than I have today. THANKS - Richard in Atlanta
