I wish I could answer your questions. What part of GA ? My old John Griffin 1743 is younger than your John 1735, so they are not brothers. I for years have tried to find a connection between the Edgecombe, Johnston, Bladen and Cumberland Co NC Griffins. I am always interested in new data and possible connections, let me hear from you. If I think of any other info that may help I will let you know. Afraid I haven't been much help here but maybe something will click! Linda
Brothers and sisters can be as much as 40 years apart. My mother had a baby in `1907 and one in 1934. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Linda Harrison" <linda.harrison@charter.net> To: <gc-gateway@rootsweb.com>; <griffin@rootsweb.com> Sent: Wednesday, July 16, 2008 1:00 PM Subject: Re: [GRIFFIN] Oney GOSNEY & Wm GRIFFIN (d 1813) in Edgecombe Co., NC >I wish I could answer your questions. My grandmother had babies 39 years apart. I think people were more active back then therefore healthier in lots of ways.
