The records I have say that the Joel Walker Griffin I am related to was born in 1812 in N.C. and that Joel Walker Griffin Jr. was born in Missouri in 1845. J.W. Griffin Jr. married a turnbull(Sarah first but when she died, he married her sister). J.W. Griffin bought the town of Tuolomne City near Modesto and the Tuolomne River where they ran a ferry. Joel Robert Griffin is the line that I came from- specifically his son Richard Griffin. Who are you related to from the line and where are you from?
