Ok, here is what I know. My dad John Griffin was 75 years old when I was born. His dad Capurse died when my dad was 3 years old. He is burried in the Burton Cemetaty in Blackville. The tomb stone I believe says Capurse...or C, can't remember right now. My dad told me that there was a really bad winter and his mother and her husband were traveling thru blackville in a covered wagon and her husband got really sick. They stopped at Mr Griffin's house and her husband died so she married Mr. Griffin who was also widowed. My dad was the youngest of his siblings. I knew Aunt Lizzy and aunt Maude, they died when I was a little girl...Aunt Maude died first. I never knew Belle or Lee....I think Lee was married to Mr. Conway. I knew my dads nephew Ted Conway, he lived at Beedeville and we used to visit him. He had lots of children...my favorite was Pat, I believe he lives around Batesville now...not sure. I never knew Belle either, but I knew her son or ! grand son Roy Madden. His grand son Mitch Reid has don an extensive family history on the Walker family. Oh also I had a half brother R.A. who was 45 years old when I was born. He died about 4 years ago, but he had 3 daughters. Also I have never heard of your grandmother.
