    3. Tamara, I don't recognize the names Lee and Fate and I didn't see them mentioned in any of my Griffins information. There were/are a lot of Griffins from NC--that's the problem with having a relatively common last name! Myy great great grandfather's name was Rufus Griffin--you would be surprised at the number of Rufus Griffins there are! Sorry I couldn't be of any help. Good luck in your search.     3. In my GRIFFIN line there is an Anderson Lafayette who was b ca 1821, we think in NC. His youngest son was a Jr. and he was called, "Fate"..
