Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.griffin/6414/mb.ashx Message Board Post: looking for information about my G/G/Grandfather Thomas who was born in about 1795 and together with his wife Mary emigated to Uk with a number of children and possibly members of the Cavaney (cavanagh) family. They came from Mayo and lived in Hull and Derbyshire Thomas the son married Bridget Cavaney and they moved to Whitby in Yorkshire.
