The original post shows William Griffin (b. 1836 Virginia - d. before 1910 in Mississippi). So I searched for the Census Records closest to his birth - 1840. There was one record that had a free Black family. The Head of the household was John W. Griffin (b. 1793) who married Eliza F. ? (b. 1797). So I looked through his Census Records and found one with names of other siblings. If anyone has a John B. (b. 1830), Mary T. (b. 1838), or Samuel W.
