James Robert and Anderson Griffin were brothers....sons of Owen Ezra and Catherine Wisdom. They also had two daughters, Mary Jane and Catherine Marzella. My grandfather, Martin, was the eldest of the 10 children of James Emanuel and Nancy E. Lyle "Lougenia". William Burns Griffin was one of Martin's younger brothers. There are quite a few preachers in the Griffin family. My brother, Bob, was an Air Force chaplain for much of his life and Rick Patchin is also a preacher. Rick is the grandson of Troy Griffin, Martin's youngest brother. I have gotten back as far as 1680 and can fill in a few gaps for you.
