It is always best to find two on the line who branched as far up the line from the Earliest known ancestor (EKA) - preferably a descendant from the EKA's brother or a different son than the one your husband descends from if you really want to nail down the DNA for that EKA. If both match then you've ruled out trysts between a Griffin wife on the line with a non-Griffin male and have ruled out a hidden adoption. Incidentally there are more Griffin men in the study than Griffith's or other spelling variations. - Allan Griffith, Bloomington, IL - magrif@verizon.net Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list.
