Dear Group; I have copies of two deeds in hand which I came upon while doing research on Granville Griffin of Ms. One is a deed from Jacob Young, the only survivor of James O. Young, who died at Gilead in Texas. It is witnessed by Benjamin Franklin. The other is a deed from Branch Masterson to J. W. or G. W. Griffin of Florida. The land is near Cado Peak in Callahan County in Texas. If any Griffins are interested, I'll part with them for $20 handling, or information on the ancestors of Granville Griffin who married Larah Bozeman and farmed just southwest of Cary, Ms. They are my Great-Great Grandparents. Their daughter, Rebecca, married my Great-Grandfather, B. F. Coats in 1877.
