Author: NWillian Surnames: Classification: queries Message Board URL: http://boards.rootsweb.com/surnames.griffin/6426.1/mb.ashx Message Board Post: hi, my dad's paternal family are griffins & maternal are halls. i know the griffin's came from ga, but i too can't connect the dots. i can go back to my 3rd gt/grandfather who was born around 1809 in ga & was named charles. i currently know more about the halls. if you can give me a little more info regarding the halls, i can see if any of your names are part of my halls. they are well documented. regarding the griffins in ga, there are so many families that aren't kin to ea other, or at least i can't connect my charles to any of the other griffin families.
