If not, would you, by chance, have any Lee GRIFFIN b 27 Mar 1870 prob in NC and d 30 Mar 1911 in either VA or NC? Lee married Minerva Jane ALDRIDGE. These were my great grandparents. Or, do you have a "Fate" GRIFFIN, Lee's brother? He would have been a contemporary of Lee's but I have no dates or other identifying information about him. "Fate" may be short for another name such as Lafayette -- I don't really have a clue. These men were known to reside in western NC and travel back and forth to logging camps in VA.
