Just discovered that our Owen David Griffin's birthname was recorded as Oen D. Griffin. So, we are wondering if this unique spelling can help us connect some dots. The only other Griffin I have found that used that spelling is an Oen Griffin, died 1802 who is listed in the NC. Will abstracts.
