    3. I tried to be polite in writing to you about your constant flooding the email lists with your repeated spam about your pictures. It is a good thing you do, but the spam is getting very old! All you would need to do is put a word or words in the subject line, making those word or words identical on every message and those of us not interested in your pictures could just put a filter in to send your spam directly to the trash. That way the newbies and anyone that wants your email will get it and those that don't want it can avoid it. Just put one or more identical words in the subject line on EVERY message. All the other words can change with every message. When I emailed you direct, you just ignored my message. Now I hope you don't ignore this one, since I am sure there many people that feel as I do. Make it good for everyone!!!!! 3. I agree partially... my thought is that it would be great if Mr. Wheatley could put the location at least in the subject TX or Texas. He did reply to me and said this; >Amelia, > > > >I post hundreds of notices a day and some just happen to be Griffins. > > > >I post many entries from other states too. Especially for those of us who are on many lists. If you could add a location or identify them in the subject some way (T42?) it would be much appreciated and cause fewer bad feelings. thank you, Amelia James ajames@artic.edu > I tried to be polite in writing to you about your constant >flooding the email lists with your repeated spam about your pictures. >It is a good thing you do, but the spam is getting very old! 3. He could include everything he now includes, he would just need to begin every message with one or two words such as "Tombstone" or "Tombstone pictures." For example, using the subject line fro0m his post I responded too; "[GRIFFIN] GRIFFIN John S 1914-1987." He could change that message subject line to read, "Tombstone pictures-[GRIFFIN] GRIFFIN John S 1914-1987." That way any not wanting them would insert, "Tombstone pictures" in the filter and that would take care of the problem. However, he would need to put "Tombstone pictures" as the beginning of EVEY message he posts, no matter what name it applies too! As an example; ,"Tombstone pictures-[Smith] Smith John S 1914-1987." As an example; ,"Tombstone pictures-[Brown] Brown John S 1914-1987." As an example; ,"Tombstone pictures-[White] White John S 1914-1987." And on and on. I am sure many would very much appreciate him far more if he would do this! And thank you, Amelia, At 02:01 PM 9/5/2009, you wrote: >I agree partially... my thought is that it would be great if Mr. >Wheatley could put the location at least in the subject TX or Texas. >He did reply to me and said this; > > > >Amelia, > > > > > > > >I post hundreds of notices a day and some just happen to be Griffins. > > > > > > > >I post many entries from other states too.
