Griffin, born HArpersfield (Stamford), NY to Jonathan Griffin. Byron had a brother Julian who was killed in the Civil War. I just found Byron from an enlistment record that says he was dishonorably discharged for deserting. Now I want to find him later in his life....poor guy has been forgotten but he has a story too.......I knew nothing about him. He may have had kids, etc........they would be cousins. Byron was my grandmother Ethel I. Glantz's Uncle...her mom was Florence Griffin. They lived in Meriden, after leaving HArpersfield. Jonathan was an inventor and much more.
