There is so much conofusing and undocumented info out there. Do you know who all of the children of Sarah and Asa were? Do you have the names of Sarah Dorroh and David Mitchell? What were the names of Davids children with Milla? Most people show my great grandmother Mary Jane Mitchell b. 1841 as the daughter of Asa Mitchell and family ledgend agrees. Family legend also says that one of my "great grandmothers" was a Dorroh. I found a source that says that James Mitchell ( Bro. of Asa m. to Sarah) married Jane Dorroh , Sarah's sister. 28 Jul 1812 in Livingston, KY. Supposedly they had 3 sons: William b. 1814, ASA b. 1816 and Isaac N. Mitchell b. 1819. That would make My Asa b. 1816 the nephew of Sarah's Asa. James and Asa both being sons of William McLin Mitchell, either way I am in the same lines. Do you have thelast name of Susannah mar. to Wm McLin Mitchell ?
