I have not been able to get further back than Daniel Paul. He is on the census in 1860 on the Tom Bigbee. The next time I can find him, he is in Louisiana in 1880 with 2 of his sons & 2 daughters, one of which was my grandmother. In 1900, he is in North Texas, where he is buried. My Griffin line was living in Washington Co, AL along the Tombigbee as early as 1797. We have done the DNA test. Would love to know if our lines are kin.
