"Andrew Griffin" (including Andrew J. and Andrew Jackson Griffin) is a rather common name in GA and AL (and elsewhere) in the mid-1800s. In my research over just the past few days, I have identified at least 17 Andrew Griffin's in GA and AL between 1830 and 1850, at least 3 of whom had the middle initial "J." I'm afraid I have no connection to a Frances Grayson (or any Grayson) in my family tree or research, nor to any Andrew Griffin's who ended up in Arkansas by 1855. Sorry.
