Several of us have been very interested in (and confused by) the array of Andrew Griffin's in s.e. AL. Just in the past several days I've actually undertaken the task of trying to "collect" info about all of them in one place and trying to trace them through time and space--a daunting task. I don't have an answer to your question...yet. Could you help me out? Could you outline your lineage or point me to your family tree so that I can see *which* Andrew you're referring to, and from whom you descend? As you may have read, Thomas A. Griffin's wife Elizabeth (Scarbrough) is a gg aunt of mine so at least some of the Griffin's (perhaps including you!) are distant cousins in that part of the world.
