Dempsey Griffin from Pinewood Sumter, S. Carolina.I think one of his children is John Griffin who married Mary S. Murdock.Their children were Missouri, Mazura, Martha, John Van, Thomas, Matt, Edward Dalton, and Lula Griffin. J. Dempsey Griffin was born 30 Mar 1788 he died 10 Aug 1866.
