I have a letter dated 1972 from Alice (Mrs. L.H. Griffin) of Hooks, Texas that she sent to my father Barney Lee Wilder of Butts County, Georgia. In the letter she wrote that her father was Dr. John H. Wilder who was born in Butts County, Georgia and that John was the brother of my great grandfather, George Andrew Wilder who was born in Butts County about 1872. Mrs. Griffin was seeking family history information from my father and as far as I know he never replied to her. >From what I have found so far it appears Alice Wilder was married to Levi Hall Griffin of Hooks, Texas. I would love to share information with any surviving family who might have an interest in family history! Ken Wilder
