He was born in Ireland in 1842 and came to the United States in 1950. He was probably around 8 or 9 years old. He married Elizabeth Orr from Pennsylvania (both her parents, David Orr and Lolasia Blackburn were both from Ireland). They both moved to Hornell, NY where they both died.
