My dad always said that there were three brothers who came from Ireland and then settled in three different states, Alabama,Mississippi and South Carolina. John would be the Mississippi, Henry would be the South Carolina, and someone else would be the Alabama? Henry Kennedy, Nancy Kennedy's dad,is my 6th great grandfather on one side. John Kennedy is grandfather to Nancy Wheat(married Henry Kennedy, b.1806 in Mississippi Territory - Alabama). So John Kennedy is one of my many greatgrandfathers also. We have two Henry Kennedys and two Nancy Wheats. Important Note: The author of this message may not be subscribed to this list. I found a birth record on LDS for Thomas of 22nd Nov 1822 in Leigh with Bransford. His mother is listed as Maria Griffin, father blank. He married Elizabeth Palmer (1792-1884) in 1807. They were both born in NY and died in OH. They had at least 12 children: Daniel R., Nathaniel Gilbert, Benamin Y., Joanna A., William, Louisa, Horace, John, Adolphus, Charles Goodrich, Blake, and Betsy Jane. Since Elizabeth is descended from Walter Palmer (CT), I have a lot of information about her. However, I am stuck on Nathaniel. Any information will be appreciated.
