In case you haven't found it already, Thomas Anderson Griffin is buried in the Tallapoosa Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Carroll Co. The grave stone only reads T. A. Griffin but the dates match up. If I remember correctly, it is on the far right hand side of the cemetery. Also, Owen Ezra Griffin and Catherine joined Bethel Primitive Baptist Church soon after arriving in Heard County. There are 4 or 5 Bethel Baptist Churches in Heard County and I have searched all of them and not found a grave marker for Owen Ezra. My grandfather, Martin, was the eldest of the 10 children of James Emanuel and Nancy E. Lyle "Lougenia". William Burns Griffin was one of Martin's younger brothers. There are quite a few preachers in the Griffin family. My brother, Bob, was an Air Force chaplain for much of his life and Rick Patchin is also a preacher. Rick is the grandson of Troy Griffin, Martin's youngest brother. I have gotten back as far as 1680 and can fill in a few gaps for you. My Father, is Richard Owen Griffin, His Father, Thomas Owen Griffin, His Father, Thomas Anderson Griffin, he was also a traveling Preacher. I get lost on that side after that. But what is unique about my tree is that I have Griffin's on mom's side too. But that tree has proven much more difficult. My mother's mother was a Griffin before she married. Her name is Ruby Louise Griffin Hightower. Her father was Eurette Eugene Griffin. He was also a preacher. I have wondered how many other Griffin's might've been preachers. Anyway, E.E.'s father was William Burns Griffin, and his father was James Robert Griffin I think. I am not looking at my family tree right now, but I can give you that information sometime. My mother recently visited the grave sites of some of the Griffins. They are located at Oak Grove Church Baptist Cemetery. I have pictures. I have James Robert's headstone picture.
