Working on the Green line is tedious due fact that the name is so common. I know it will be extremely difficult to find a John GREEN born so long ago in Ireland. What I was really hoping for was to connect to the descendants of some of these many, many children. My GREEN, John to be precise, came from Ireland sometime before 1828. I suspect he was from Northern Ireland, and probably originally Scots-Irish or English. He was married in 1828 in Philadelphia to Mary Ann GRAHAM. She was born in Phila.
