Someone out there asked me about my AL Green family... where were they from... but I lost the message. Anyway, I am looking into John A. Green(e), in Macon Co., AL, probably around Cotton Valley. Records show both spellings of the name, but most commonly, without the "e." John A. Green was married to Laura and they apparently had several children, quite a few who died quite young. There is a Green Cemetery around Shorter, Macon Co., AL, where these Greens are buried: Green Cemetery; 3/4 miles west of Liverpool Rd., Shorter: Benjamin Cook Green ` d. 3/7/1852 -- Age 81 yrs.
