Looking for Green ancestors/kin in Jackson Co., AL c. 1850. Caroline Green and husband William Gordon Bachman enumerated in Jackson Co., Dist. 20., page 64. Living two households away is Mariah Green age 57, born TN, Andrew 27 born AL, Adaline 21 born AL, Joseph 17 born AL and Newton Green 29 born AL. I believe Mariah is Carolines mother...need proof. Caroline Green Bachman, William Bachman and family moved to Austin Co., Texas by 1853. William G. Bachman participated in the Vasquez campaign in 1842 for Texas independence. Caroline died 1901 in Williamson Co., TX. TIA.......Jane
