Fellow Green/Greene researchers, With all of this activity on the list, I will again post my mystery ancestor. My g-grandfather, Gilbert Greene was likely born in Hawkins County, TN, on 12 February 1824. He died 23 July 1894 in Piatt County, Illinois. In 1844, he married Martha Ann Ramsey in Scott County, Kentucky. Some researchers have compiled the following list of his siblings. As far as I know, only one has been verified. That is Ruth Greene.
