    3. Interesting Tom, as my husband's birth mother was a GREEN and he doesn't know who his father is, but he definitely has a lot of red pigments and freckles - lol Judy ----Original Message Follows---- From: TOM GREEN <tbgreen3@prodigy.net> To: GREEN-L@rootsweb.com Subject: Re: [GREEN] GREEN Date: Sun, 25 Apr 2004 20:10:24 -0700 (PDT) Hi Jim, Some years ago I did some research on your GREEN line in hopes of finding a connection to my William Green born February 6, 1762 in Prince Edwards County, Virginia. I believe he was the son of a John Green who owned land in PEC at the time of William Green's birth, but that is about all I know about this John Green. If you should have any information that might show a connection of a John Green who was probably born between 1730 and 1740. My William Green married Keziah Stroud in Hilllsborough, Orange County, North Carolina in 1781 and they moved on to Burke County, NC where most of their children were born. Most of the family moved to Haywood County, NC where William Green died March 2, 1837. Any help would be greatly appreciated. They settled in Orange County - later Culpepper County - Virginia. They had seven sons all of whom were reported to be over six feet tall and all had red had. They are known as the RED GREENS.
