My thoughts are: Maybe "Rachel" was not actually married to Jeramiah. Maybe the surname "Green" was merely assumed in her case, when she approved the apprenticeship of the boy, Meshack. Maybe Rachel is Meshack's sister or aunt. ... it may be worth considering other relationships, of which there are quite a few possibilities. Not all "family" clusters were in fact blood relations and some "marriages", I suppose, were not too official. Annette
