Hello Listers Haven't seen so many Greens since - I don't know when! Might as well join in and add the little knowledge I have of mine. I have GEORGE JAMES GREEN as an Army Pensioner on my Grandmothers Wedding certificate on April 11th, 1911. He is my g Grandfather. The family as I knew it, came from the Woolwich/Plumstead area of London. I would love to know where George came from originally. I remember meeting my g Grandmother when I was very little - she was Irish. Nice to suddenly hear from 'lots of Greens'!! Best wishes, Christine.
