John Thomas Carter was born 1859 in Mississippi. His mother was Martha Alw-----(can't make out spelling) from Alabama and father was William Carter from Ala. He married Camiller Green (born-1/6/1858-5/26/1916) who was born in Mississippi. They settled in Sabine Parish, Louisiana and had family of seven children one of which was my grandmother- Martha Ann Carter. Anyone having info on this family please let me know. Thank you so much.
