Hello Greens, I see so much activity with the Greens I need to ask my questions. My great-grandparents were Hugh and Margaret Green who lived in Beat No. 5 in Shelby County, Alabama, from about 1853 until their death in 1883 and 1894. Hugh was the son of either Elijah Green who born in 1800 in TN and his wife or the son of Elijah's brother Joseph Green who was born in 1790 in Georgia and his wife Mary. Both Elijah and Joseph arrived in Shelby County before 1850. Does anyone have any information on these families for me. Thanks. Terry tocnroc@aol.com

Does anyone have a connection to Godfrey Green, wife was Mary. In 1880 he was 54, they were living in Gregg, Aiken County, SC. Their children were Isabella, Catherine, Ella, George and William (F.). Also living there was William's wife Emma (Emmaline Key). Thank you very much Tammy Lynn Collard
