Has anyone come across a Bethia Green? She was born in Indiana (Parke County in believe). Passed down through the family says she was Cherokee Indian although I have no proof. Her daughter and son-in-law were on the Chickasaw Indian Reservation in Oklahoma in the 1910 census. Bethia married 1st ? Dunaway and had one child from this marriage Louisa "Jane" who married Jefferson Eddy. Bethia married 2nd Charles Matney either in Shelby Co., IL or Douglas Co., KS abt 1855. Mariah Matney married Reuben Eddy in Douglas Co., NE in 1885. Reuben Eddy and Jefferson Eddy were brothers. Looking for the birth of Bethia, her sibling and parents.
