I have a mysterious Walter Green myself. Actually, I have a picture of him, with his name on the back, taken by the Reed photographers of Norton, Kansas. Handsome young man. I speculate that he might be a son of Phinehas GREEN and Nancy KURTZ, born after 1880, when the rest of the family shows up in the Grant, Osborne Co., Kansas, census. I know they had at least one additional child there. (Other children were Lemuel, Miles, Elmer, Samuel, Harry, Lillie, Mary and then Myrtle.) Anybody know anything about these people?
