I have recently determined that I am a direct descendant of John Greene of Quidnesset, R.I. Confirmation came by way of the book, "Descendants of Joseph Greene of Westerly, R.I. including other branches of the Greenes of Quidnesset, or Kingston, R.I., and other lines of Greenes in America." By Frank L. Greene This 500 page book is a wealth of information for genealogists tracking the Green(e) surname or many others for that matter. Has anyone managed to transcribe this data into a Gedcom file or some other family tree database? I began doing so a few days ago and quickly realized what a gargantuan task I had begun.
