DEATH OF DESSIE GREEN Funeral services for Miss Dessie Green, who passed away last Saturday, were held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock at the Bethel Church in Ray County. The service was conducted by Rev. Seek. Interment took place in the cemetery nearby. Dessie Green, daughter of Mrms. Joseph Green, passed away at 7:30 o'clock Saturday morning, May 10th, 1941, near Hamilton, in the home of Mrms. Raymond Farr where she had made her home for several years with her sister, Mrs. Farr. She was 56 years and 16 days old when she was summoned home to a Saviour she trusted. She united with Bethel Christian Union Church in early life and lived a Christian life and had a kind disposition. She leaves to mourn her death three sisters and four brothers; Mrs. G. R. Brewer, Springfield, Ill; Mrs. James Hemry, Polo; Mrs. Raymond Farr, Hamilton; Charles E. Green, Boulder, Colo; Robert O. Green, Wendel, Cal.; and Carl and Maurice of Polo. Her father, mother, two sisters and one brother preceded her in death.
