I have been looking for the wife of Samuel DUKE. He was in Brunswick Co, VA until 1743 when he went to NC. I believe he married a GREEN in Brunswick Co. Nathaniel Green and William Green owned land adjacent to the Duke land in Brunswick County. Also, the given names of Samuel's children were not the usual names used in the Duke family - Among his children were Britain, Burwell/Burrell, Starling/Sterling and Harrell which were not the usual Duke names. Someone has suggested his wife was Sarah Pernetia Green. Can anyone help? Floreda
